On top of that I have a ton of new friends from Twitter, Facebook, and blogging who know what I think but not what's going on with me and my family. So.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This year March has come in nothing like a lion. This is the first month in I don't know how long that Jake, Aedyn, Jaron, and I have been able to expect nothing spectacular to happen. Knock on wood, this month should be blessedly uneventful.
I'm looking forward to being able to do things that have needed to be done since we moved back in November. Clean the furniture. Finish some sewing projects (those will each have their own posts). A couple of crocheting projects. Cooking experiments. Getting on track with going to the gym on a regular basis. Get back into the habit of blogging 5+ times a week.
And getting the boys out. My boys are good kids. But they're active.
Twice this week I've been complimented in restaurants about how well behaved are. Both of those days Aedyn & Jaron had been taken to the park and allowed to run, climb, and play until they said they were ready to go home.
I know people might say that's not practical to go to the park every day and maybe it's not. But taking care of my boys is my job. Therefore, if they need to spend 3 hours at the park so that they can get their energy out and be civil, calm, and pleasant while I run errands then guess what we're going to do as often as humanly possible? Yup.
Jake has a lot on his plate at work, but all of it good. He's had classes on his days off last week and this week which is a bummer. But we manage and know that it will pass. We still get the evening with him and he can put the boys to bed and that's what matters.
Baby #3 is not yet in the oven but we're hoping that he or she (really hoping she!) might be soon. Jaron is still breastfeeding about 3 times a day/night and while I've heard tons of stories that breastfeeding is not a good method of birth control, it seems to work pretty well for us! I'd love to have a spring baby, so there's no big rush to wean him, but if we still haven't gotten #3 started by June then I'll definitely be encouraging him to drop a couple of those sessions.(I was able to get pregnant with Jaron when Aedyn dropped to only 1 nursing session so I'm hoping we can manage that and Jaron can keep his bedtime Mama's Milk until he's ready to drop it.)
So that's this week's peek into what's going on with us!
If you want to hear more about my 2 (not always) sleeping babies and the rest of the family you can follow us on Google+, Facebook, and Twitter!
Ooh how exciting! We're trying too. Still, haha :)
ReplyDeleteGlad to get a little peek into your world! We're also thinking about starting on #2 here and I would love to have another spring baby.
ReplyDeleteI love your comment about the park! :) Logan goes CRAZY if we stay in the house all day on the weekend. He will beg to leave and go bring me his shoes if I don't get the hint earlier that it is time to go to the park, lol. When the weather has been bad, I have gotten creative. We go to the mall play place at 8am before it's crowded... go to indoor play places that only cost $5.00... go to chick-fil-a and play... go to walmart and camp out in the toy aisle and demo every toy we can reach. LOL. Little boys need to play and get their wiggles out, that's for sure!
ReplyDeleteWe have not been trying for a baby {yet}, but I'd love to be trying now. Our daughter is 18 months old, and I'd like to have a baby sooner rather than later.
