Stream of Consciousness Sunday ~ Diaper Biscuits

#SOCsunday
Jaron's on a strike...fun times. But while for most 8 month olds that means a nursing strike, my child decides to go on a solids strike. Yup, for 2 whole weeks he refused anything but Mama Milk.

Now this isn't really a big issue, except that he needs the calories and the extra substance in his tummy. Know how I know? I was nursing him around the clock. I love spending that time with him, but I couldn't get anything else done! It started to get more than a little crazy with him always latched on, unless he had dozed off, of curse should I even dare to try and put him down he'd wake and scream to nurse. *Sigh* but we endured and he's finally starting to eat big people food again.

I won't lie, there were definite benefits, my husband discovered the most pronounced of these this morning when he asked if I was cooking something. Nope. But on a breastmilk only diet Jaron's diapers have gone back to smelling like baked goods. Now everyone has this weird desire for fresh out of the oven biscuits....

My daughter is pretty much exclusively nursing and she is 9 months. I feed her some solids but she is not a huge fan! On the bright side i am happy with BF diapers!

  3. Here I was thinking you were writing about freshly baked biscuits. I will tell you though that those diapers definitely don't smell nearly as bad as the older ones do!!

  4. I wish I could exclusively BF until he's potty trained for that reason!

  5. I'm not sure if he doesn't like the solids or if he's just that much of a boob-baby. LOL. Nice to know we're not the only ones though!
